Dr. Scott is a miracle worker! I was stunned after a skin cancer diagnosis and not sure what to expect. Dr. Scott was incredibly patient, super positive, and very thorough in his explanation of both the procedure and expectations. Skeptical at first, his countenance led me to trust him; It's of the best decisions I've ever made!

Though at first shocked by the seemingly huge initial scar, Dr. Scott reassured me how it would change with time and what to expect. Within 2 months post op it was barely detectable -- even my aestheticians were stunned at the results!

Just as important, he is as kind as he is bright and talented. He always greets you warmly, answers every question, and genuinely cares about his patients. You never feel like just a "case" with Dr. Scott. He's one of the few doctors I'm actually happy to see, and I highly regard and recommend him.

Recently had a skin surgery with Dr. Scott. He was very personable and made me feel relaxed as well as the nurse assisting. Everything was explained in detail and I was treated with kindness I’m three weeks since surgery and one week since my stitches came out and my arm looks amazing considering the surgery I had. A few days ago I visited the Clinical Skin Center in Fairfax, Virginia for Mohs surgery to remove a basal cell carcinoma on my cheek. As usual, the staff there was very pleasant. The nurses were very careful and considerate in preparing me, explaining things, and taking care of me through the process. Dr. Jeffrey Scott, the surgeon, went through everything with me and was very focused on me and my comfort. Once the bad tissue was removed, Dr. Scott explained how they would repair and stitch the area so it would heal well. Once that was done, the nurse cleaned me up, bandaged me, explained wound care, provided written instructions, and told me who to call if I had any questions or concerns. I am very pleased with the care I received.

Dr. Scott and his staff are great. I was treated with kindness and they were very thorough and explained everything before during and after my procedure. I was very nervous and they were very calming . The assistant Josie was so kind and reassuring I was grateful for that. Im still recovering, but I have nothing but great things to say. I highly recommend The Clinical Skin Center. And if you have to have Mohs.. Dr. Scott is who you want!
