Run away from here. This is the worst place where incompetent doctors sit. I went to this clinic with a request to vaccinate my cat and give me a certificate for a flight to another country. To which this clinic said that they would help me with this issue. Great, and we happily agreed, but if we knew that they do not understand anything and do everything poorly. First, they sent us to the office and said that there would be an examination, asked to immediately pay the bill, this bill included a doctor's examination, vaccinations and a certificate (total amount of $ 338.34), which we did, immediately paying for their services. Then the doctor's assistant came and wrote down the answers to the question, after that the doctor came in and examined my cat for one minute, looked at her ears and just felt her, and for this I paid $ 73.65. I would rather examine my own cat. Then her assistant came with her assistant and gave all the vaccinations to the cat. After that, they gave me an invoice and the long-awaited certificate, which had a bunch of mistakes. There were mistakes with the cat's age. In one paper they wrote that she was 2 years old, in the second - that she was 2 years and 4 months old, and in the same paper below they indicated the age of 2 years and 6 months. It's terrible, they gave me all these papers and that's it. I began to understand them and ask questions, but I did not get answers to any of my questions. And it was obvious that they did not like all this. In a word, they do everything without delving into your problem, the main thing for them is money. The certificate they gave me was without a signature and USDA seal. I found out that it was supposed to be there 3 days after they gave me this certificate, and when they gave it to me, they did not say that it was supposed to be there. I had to figure it out myself. They are very frivolous and the main thing for them is money.

Horrible service d/t bait and switch pracitices. I have worked in healthcare for 33 years in Pediatrics and their behavior is not accepable. My wife got a quote for 475 to spay my 12 lb 7 month dog which I was okay with compared to Lake Forest Animal Hospital @$435 for everything icluding meds & anesthesia. Went to pick my dog up and the price exploded to 650 dollars.. they are horrible people and suggest exploring other Vet services!!!

Wow. This facility went above and beyond for us in a time of desperation. Andrea the manager is a true rockstar. Long story short, our cats were sprung on them last minute with little notice due to the other boarding facility neglecting to inform me of their situation. Andrea came to the rescue and took care of everything. Reassured me the cats would be well taken care of and we need not worry about a thing. She was very communicative the whole week and also drove the cats back down to us herself. While the cats did arrive back to me a bit dirty, I completely understand because they were stressed out and wouldn’t be very cooperative with the staff. But the staff and Andrea did everything within their power to give the cats the best care possible. Andrea deserves a promotion and pay raise for sure. Thank you!

Went to have a newly adopted Kitten spayed. Staff was extremely helpful and thorough with services that would be completed. After care was carefully explained and Staff answered all my questions. Ms. Shamrock has a check up on Saturday the 19th! Excited to have 2nd visit with same Doctor(that completed surgery) to confirm healing process and progress. Great Pet Care Center for all your animal needs.

This place is top notch!!! During Covid they would come out and get your animal and made them and you feel safe, I took my new kitty Willow that I adopted in to get spayed and I wasn't sure if her incision was healing correctly, because she had a little bump where they made the incision. So I called them to check in, they gave me a number to take a picture and video of the bump and I sent it to the doctor so I didn't have to come back in and she was just fine! It saved me money, time and and stress on my kitty, the advice they gave me was perfect? my kitty was just fine.? Exceptional service, I will continue to take my cat there as I adopted her from the Ark of SJ and wasn't quite sure what doctor I was going to use, but Ortega animal clinic will be her place from now on! The staff was very caring too. A+

Ortega Animal Care Center is my dog's second home. I never worry when my Berner is boarded during times of taken extended vacations. The staff is friendly and supportive of helping Oreo who is now 13 and needs extra TLC. Gia is fantastic groomer and always gives Oreo the best trim. Dr. B and vet techs always are gentle when giving my pup medicine.

My two very anxious dogs just spent a week at Ortega Animal Care Center for the first time. The staff was super helpful and kind, and made my dogs feel right at home. When I went to pick them up the staff told me all about their stay, gave me printed pictures, and the dogs were happy and healthy, and I know this may sound silly, but they didn’t smell bad and seem dirty like my dogs have been when picking them up from boarding at other places in the past. We will definitely be using this fantastic place in the future.
