I was referred to Burt's by my OBGYN and PCP. I have been a patient of Burt's Pharmacy in Westlake for almost a year now, and it is absolutely the ONLY pharmacy I will ever use as long as I live locally. I have only had the absolute best experience with every single staff member. Burt's truly offers an excellent and very personalized kind of service that you will not get at any large chain pharmacy (CVS, Costco etc). Extremely short phone wait times if any wait at all. I have never had an issue with a prescription or price "mix-up" or any issues with my insurance, both of which have happened to me many times at other pharmacies. Their pharmacy technicians and support staff, who often answer the phone, are not only very kind and patient but extremely knowledgeable and never make me feel rushed. Anytime I ask to speak to a pharmacist, they always provide me with the most accurate and up-to-date information, and explain it in a patient-friendly manner that makes it easy for me to understand, which I really appreciate. Their employees genuinely seem happy to be working there and really care about patient satisfaction, and this positivity absolutely translates through their interactions with patients. I often utilize their prescription delivery service, which is only $5 total for same-day delivery. This is a wonderful and honestly overall extremely reasonably priced option for busy moms, full time workers, or those who don't have someone they can send to get their prescriptions, especially after surgery, and also for anyone who suffers from conditions that make it harder to run various errands. THANK YOU to Burt's Pharmacy in Westlake for the last year of absolutely outstanding customer service and patient care that you provided to me and many others, and I look forward to many great years to come. Most kind, patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, well inventoried, efficient, and personalized pharmacy I have ever come across...I will continue to be a grateful patient, and loyal customer, for as long as I can. Burts Pharmacy is absolutely WONDERFUL!!! I can only personally speak to the Westlake Village location since that is my local spot, but I have a strong feeling that every single Burt's Pharmacy offers the same outstanding patient care and customer service (which I have heard from others as well). I used to get all my prescriptions filled at CVS, mostly because I don't have the best insurance and thought only big corporate-type pharmacy giants would take my insurance, but thankfully that is not the case! Not only does Burt's Pharmacy work with almost every insurance carrier, but they give so much more of a personalized experience that it literally feels like a different world compared to any other pharmacy. The "Good Neighbor Pharmacy" slogan is not just a meaningless catch phrase, but an actual way of serving the public that represents Burt's compassionate and supportive system. The moment you walk in you will be greeted with a smile and have Burt's world class expert pharmacy staff waiting to go above and beyond helping patients and customers. All of their staff members are both extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and their pharmacists are always available to provide specific medication information and answer any questions you might have. In my experience I have received the most personalized, compassionate, and most importantly accurate prescription information from Burt's best-in-class pharmacists. I wanted to nominate them for the Ventura County Star "Best of 2023" awards (since I nominated my doctor, dentist etc) but I did not see a category for Best Pharmacy which doesn't seem fair. Burt's Pharmacy offers personalized, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, quality care every single time you call or walk in and they are the ONLY pharmacy I would highly recommend to anyone in the Ventura County area!!! Best staff ever, incredibly short wait times, and they even offer $5 same-day delivery which is an incredibly good value, and very convenient for patients like myself. I just went through the madness of relocating to another pharmacy in a new city. Other well-known chains that I dealt with did not have one of my medications in stock, delayed the transfer of another prescription, or were rude and impatient with me.

After leaving Burt's Pharmacy last Friday, I thought to myself, "I must've done something right to have found this place."

The shop is beautiful with lots of cool items like games, gag gifts, home decor, etc. Of course they sell over-the-counter medications and medical supplies as well. The pharmacists are friendly and welcoming. Unlike other pharmacies I've come across, this shop exhibited no rushed, overwhelmed, or disgruntled demeanors whatsoever. Burt's pharmacists did not allow any holdups to interfere with my transition to their shop. Instead, they made the process practically seamless by quickly working to resolve any "would-be" issues that came up. I came in as a new customer less than 30 minutes before they closed and if it were not for a pending insurance approval, Burt's would have filled my prescription immediately. That's the first time I've ever been told anything other than, "it's going to be about an hour."

Burt's took great care of me and just gained a loyal patron. I would happily recommend them to anyone in need of an excellent pharmacy in their lives. ?✌️

I have been going to this pharmacy for approximately 5 years now. I don't exactly remember. I will never again change pharmacies. They get you the best deals, and help you out whenever possible. They are super friendly and go out of their way to expedite shipping, get medications in on a one day basis, and after 3 or so visits they will know you by name.

It is NOT AT ALL like being at a Walgreens or a CVS where you're just another number and dollar sign. You are a person they care about and treat with respect. They are also very knowledgeable and help with finding what's right for you with over the counter medication.

PJ and Dawn are the 2 original people that are still there that are so cool and friendly. The owner is no longer working at this location, but I miss his friendly help, and encouragement when I was feeling down, or sick.

The gifts are hilarious and I always get my niece and nephew a gift, and I even get my parents gag gifts there. It is well themed and have a lot to offer for every type of personality.
